A function was held in Sligo last evening (5/10/23) to mark the retirement of Superintendent Mandy Gaynor. A presentation was made on behalf of the Association by Pat O’Connell of the NEC. Best wishes to Mandy and family on her retirement
A 10th anniversary cake was presented to the Association to mark the occasion of the 10th consecutive conference in the Kilashee Hotel. Pictured are the management of the hotel with a cross-section of the delegates and NEC members.
A review into the standards of behaviour and internal culture of the Metropolitan Police Service took place as a result of recent high profile cases involving the London Met and some of its members. This review is very relevant in its’ criticism of the dilution of supervision within the Met and Chapter 4 has particular relevance given the implementation of the Op Model in our organisation.
