Our President, Colm Murphy and General Sectary Mick Comyns recently represented our Association at the Annual Joint Meeting of the Executives (Association of Scottish Police Superintendents, Police Superintendents Association and the Superintendents Association Northern Ireland) held in Ballymena.

Our General Secretary, Mick Comyns, represented the Association at the Garda Memorial Day for Deceased Members on the 17th of May 2025.

A function was held 5th of July 2024 to mark the occasion of the retirement of Superintendent Seamus Boyle. Seamus was NEC Member and the Association would like to thank him for all his hard work in that regard. We wish Seamus and his family well and all the best for the future in his retirement! Members of the National Executive, led by our President Colm Murphy and General Secretary Mick Comyns attended a protest at Leinster House alongside other Garda colleagues and the Fire Brigade, Defences Forces and Prison Service against the unfair pension entitlements on offer to new recruits.
