Superintendent Tony Twomey marked his retirement with a function held in Westmanstown in March. Tony was a member of the National Executive and a strong voice for the DMR Branch. A presentation was made to Tony on behalf of the Association. Best wishes to Tony and his Family in his next chapter.
The attached letter has been submitted by the association to Minister for JELR and Minister for DPER regarding a failure to address Association issues relating to allowances, recruitment, retirement, indemnity cover for members and subvention for the Association.
Goretti Sheridan was a panellist at the National Menopause Summit 2023 held in City Hall in Cork City on the 20th October 2023 and she made a specific mention of the opportunity provided to her to present at the Association of Garda Superintendents Conference in 2022 on the subject of Menopause.
