A function was held in Tullamore on the 7th of November 2025 to celebrate the retirement of Superintendent John Lawless after 35 years of dedicated service to An Garda Siochana. Superintendent Martina Noonan (NEC Member) was in attendance and made a presentation to John on behalf of the Association. We wish John and his Family all the best for the future in his retirement and thank him for his service.
A function was held on the 26th of September 2025 to mark the occasion of the retirement of Detective Superintendent Joe Moore. Joe was NEC Member and the Association would like to thank him for all his hard work in that regard. We wish Joe and his family well and all the best for the future in his retirement! On the 24th of September 2025, the Association of Garda Superintendents held its annual Delegates Conference at the Knightsbrook Hotel in Trim. The Minister for Justice Jim O’Callaghan and the Garda Commissioner Justin Kelly both address conference on the day. The theme of this years conference was ‘Stronger Together’.
