A review into the standards of behaviour and internal culture of the Metropolitan Police Service took place as a result of recent high profile cases involving the London Met and some of its members. This review is very relevant in its’ criticism of the dilution of supervision within the Met and Chapter 4 has particular relevance given the implementation of the Op Model in our organisation.

On the 9th April 2022, Superintendent Joe Doherty retired and a function to mark the occasion was held at The Twin Trees Hotel in Ballina. A presentation on behalf of the Association was made to Joe to mark his 39 years service. Best wishes to Joe, Geraldine and family from all in the association
