The Association would like to congratulate Declan on his recent retirement after 35 years dedicated service in An Garda Siochana. Mick Flynn made a presentation to Declan at his function on behalf of the Association. We wish Declan all the best in his next chapter!
Our President, Colm Murphy and General Sectary Mick Comyns recently represented our Association at the Annual Joint Meeting of the Executives (Association of Scottish Police Superintendents, Police Superintendents Association and the Superintendents Association Northern Ireland) held in Ballymena.

Our General Secretary, Mick Comyns, represented the Association at the Garda Memorial Day for Deceased Members on the 17th of May 2025.
A function was held 5th of July 2024 to mark the occasion of the retirement of Superintendent Seamus Boyle. Seamus was NEC Member and the Association would like to thank him for all his hard work in that regard. We wish Seamus and his family well and all the best for the future in his retirement!
